Our Hair is not just a Hair

Man does not consider hair as an important thing in his life because he does not wanted to show him as beautiful rather than showing himself as powerful. In his dictionary, power and money is the ultimate things in the world.

One may consider having good hair is useful only to show oneself as beautiful, but in general it is having lot of social, biological importance. It is considered as important by the people since ancient times.

People of ancient Egypt considered hair as the symbol of royalty, nobleness. Hindus considers hair as having spiritual inclination, Sikhs consider hair as having cultural inclination. Even in the biblical story of Samson, hair is considered as the symbol of power. When the hair is lost, he become weak and was killed.

Apart from these social importance, hair is having some biological importance as maintaining body heat, protecting our skin from ultraviolet rays, boosting self confidence in women.

Though man doesn't want to have a long hair like woman, he does not also want to have bald head like a empty play ground. At the same time, he fall for a woman having long hair. It shows his positive sub conscious inclination towards having a long hair. By the way, we can conclude, both men and women are interested in having long hair either for their family women or themselves.

A male lion is having a good mane in his rear head showing its power and helpful for him in attracting female lions. A peacock having a big train, the tail of feathers making it beautiful and helps him in attracting peahen. Similarly, the rooster of male chicken is not only showing it beautiful but also, helps in leading their crowd, helps in behavioural indication, helps in alarming about predators, and to show its aggression upon the opponents.

Mane of a Lion, Train of a Peacock, and Rooster of a Cock is just a bundle of hair in general. But it is having lot of social, cultural, and biological importance even in birds and animals. A hair is not just a hair. It is the symbol of identity, power, beauty, self confidence, and a symbol of good health.
